Our U16s took on table-toppers Macroom this evening in their league semi-final. Played in perfect conditions for football, Macroom were first off the mark with a goal and a point before a brace of points from Lucy Finlay on her first match back from injury. A goal just before the half time break saw Macroom lead by 5 points at the interval.

A third goal and a number of points saw Macroom extend their lead to 9 points before Passage dug deep and reduced the deficit to 2 points but unfortunately time was against them and Macroom ran out winners on a scoreline of 3-4 to 2-5. Hard luck to the girls who battled hard in a tough, physical match and thanks for the great support as always
