Our U12s continued their unbeaten run in the league last Thursday night away to Grenagh. A tight game for the opening quarter; great defending from both teams meant nearly 15 minutes had elapsed before Passage registered the first point of the game. This settled the Passage girls and they found their rhythm. They pushed on to win on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-2.

Our forwards Sarah Coughlan (1-2), Aoife O’ Driscoll, Isabelle Sjaellender (0-1), Emily Collier (0-1), Eva Barry (1-0), Chloe Murray (1-2), Hayley O’ Brien and Emilie Lenihan all put in a great shift. In midfield Sarah Hendrick (0-1) and Roisin Hanlon (0-5) ran themselves to a standstill with some fantastic passages of passing.

Our backs Maggie Murphy, Erin Duggan, Laylah Browne, Adisson Murphy, Sophie Lordan, Danielle Price, Grace Murray, Katie O’Herlihy and Amy Walsh were on top form and controlled every ball that came their way. Kerri Daly in goal made 2 great saves and her excellent kick-outs began many of Passage’s attacks. Well done to all involved. Next league match this Tuesday home to Ballygarvan at 6.30pm.
